Sunny Days of Praise

Today's Photo: "Let Me Help You"

It’s sunny. There are puffy, marshmallow clouds in the bluest of skies. A number of things happened today that reminded me down to my very core that God did not drop me off in Minnesota and then hit the road. God is near.

Here’s ‘The Message’ translation of Psalm 100; it definitely reflects where I am at today (as compared to Sunday when I was feeling more like Jonah 4:2-3).

On your feet now – applaud GOD!
Bring a gift of laughter,

sing yourselves into his presence.

Know this: GOD is God, and God, GOD.

He made us; we didn’t make him.

We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.

Enter with the password: “Thank you!”

Make yourselves at home, talking praise.

Thank him. Worship him.

For GOD is sheer beauty,

all-generous in love,

loyal always and ever.

Additionally – I was introduced to Agape! A Christian Hip-Hop artist! And Agape is not even REMOTELY cheesy! It’s terrific. I LOVE IT! Maybe I don’t have to give up my love of hip-hop! http://www.hiphopoutreach.com/

Other random highlights from today:
1) Holding a chicken; and dropping a chicken
2) Drinking ridiculously strong coffee without sugar or fake sugar or cream
3) Diet Mountain Dew Code Red
4) Home visits
5) Eating my new favorite flavor of Pudding Pack – Triple Chocolate
