30 Days Inspired: Day 15

Day 15: This 30 day adventure is at its half-way point! I've enjoyed each and every day of it. Today was filled with random inspiration. The day began with coffee at a local spot shared with a friend - lots of good converation about film and writing got the creative juices flowing a little bit.

My tutoring session was good today. The best part was that we stayed for an extra 40 minutes to play Boggle! We usually play for 15 minutes at the end of a class, but we're both getting a little addicted to this most fabulous game! Finding words is so much fun. It is especially fun with my learning partner because he is constantly making up words and then checking his hand-held dictionary to find out whether they are actual words. I'm always amazed at how many of his made-up words turn out to be real English words!

This evening some dinner plans with a friend fell through so I think I will listen to my new music single by Maxwell a few thousand times (the name of the song is "Pretty Wings"), read a book, drink a lot of tea, wear my clay face mask for 4-5 hours, figure out a way to afford next month's $300 rent increase, write a poem, play the guitar, and do some phone chatting.

  1. Boggle is AWESOME! We played it every day when I worked at the newspaper in Champaign. Have you played Scramble on Facebook? It's the same as Boggle and can be addicting!
