a day of love.

What a groovy Monday! (Other than all the yucky things happening in world news, of course).

Today I got to hold a magnificent 1-week old baby named Raelyn. She is the daughter of my fantastic friends Alison and Mike. It was such a miracle and gift to hold her. I don't think I really understood how amazing babies are until today. I've always loved to babysit but have been terrified of new babies. But holding that little treasure today was like holding love. So precious.

My Creative Everyday project for today was taking pictures of windows between 4:15pm-4:20pm. Here are a few. Hope you are having a great start to a new week and encountering all sorts of love to hold on to.

  1. Aww, Alison had a baby?! Good for you for embracing the moment you got to hold her! Babies are wonderful!

Oh, and how did you get a wide blog template??

  2. I decided today that for every minute you hold a baby or hug on a baby, you add a day to your life.

    So you gained life today!!!

(LOVE the pictures of the trees!)

  4. Hey there, ladies! I actually messed around with the HTML code and changed the measurement widths from 600 to 1000. I can tell you specific directions if you're interested. :)

  5. I really like the "port hole" photo. There is a great balance between the feminine curves of the round window and the lines as seen in the trees.

I've been doing a study of Mandalas and will be publishing a new Soul Journal prompt on Sunday. In the prompt several ideas on creating mandalas will be presented. I'm interested in showing your photograph as an example of a photographic example. Would you mind if I published your photo? I would link back to your blog.

    Have a lovely day.
