There has been all sorts of melting going on in Minnesota this week, and I have been loving it. It's supposed to get chilly again, but I can feel spring in the air.
I even went for a jog today outside.
Sadly, I slipped on the ice. I fell on my tailbone. OUCH! Silly Emily.
Oh well; it could've been worse! At least I didn't accidentally cut myself with a sharp object! :)
(Sorry.....bad platelet joke).
Soon the hazardous snow and ice will be gone,
I'll be playing in the dirt at the new church garden,
and every morning will being with a lovely outdoor walk.
Ahhhhhh. I can hardly wait!
Why are you excited for spring?
I'm excited for spring to get outside with Henry & Eleanor. They're over winter, too--they keep telling me, "I don't want it to be cold anymore." Bring on the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your fall. I managed to survive our horrible ice storm without falling once, only to slip off the bottom step while vacuuming the stairs today & falling right into the vacuum. Oops.
I'm excited to take my baby out for walks in his stroller!!
