Discovery

Bridge

"Most new discoveries are suddenly-seen things that were always there."
- Susanne K. Langer
Good morning. Happy Saturday.
Guess what? Yesterday I made homemade tomato soup. It was so delicious and easy to make. And it reminded me of my Grandma Verona. She made delicious tomato soup. For the last year or so, I'd begun to think that soup wasn't really my thing - it's just so liquidy! But I was wrong.

Surprise: it turns out, I love soup! Especially tomato soup. Maybe it's because the weather changed. It's turning into soup weather.

Although the quote posted under today's bridge picture was most-probably inspired by something much deeper and more profound than homemade tomato soup, it does seem to apply. The soup discovery really makes me wonder: what else in this big - bizarre - beautiful world am I missing; what else might I suddenly-see?
