Do you like BLTs? If so, then you will probably like this week's recipe. It's super simple and highly delicious. This recipe is adapted from a similiar recipe in the book: Hungry Girl: 200 Under 200. It is a fantastic cookbook! This recipe can easily become vegan/vegetarian by making substitutions for the cheese, turkey bacon, and mayo.

Ingredients:
1 whole wheat tortilla wrap
1 handful of your favorite cheese or soy cheese
1 handful of lettuce
1/4 to 1/2 of a tomato
2 to 3 pieces of your favorite bacon, turkey bacon, or soy bacon
1 tablespoon of mayo

Directions:
1) Prepare the bacon. Crumble it into small pieces.
2) Place the tortilla in a pan on the stove on a medium heat.
3) Spread the cheese out on the top side of the tortilla and let it melt.
4) Once the bottom has started to brown just a little bit and the cheese has started melting, take the tortilla off the heat.
5) Add in the lettuce, tomato, and bacon and fold the tortilla over. Cut it in half. Serve it with a bit of mayo.

Yum, yum. Enjoy!

  1. Ooooh, that sounds yummy! I think bacon is the sole reason I couldn't be a vegetarian.
