FRIDAY

Friday, friday. Nice to see you. How was your week? Highlights? Lowlights?

Justin officiated his first wedding last weekend! He did such a great job! Definitely a natural! It brought me such joy to watch people shower him with affirmation and encouragement. I feel very grateful for his presence in my life...and very excited to get married in August!

This week FLEW by! The synod's Spring Communications Workshop was on Monday at St. Olaf. Good turnout and excellent speakers. I am very grateful for synod assembly and the annual workshop - and now also grateful that my busy vocational season has passed. There's still plenty to do in the summer but it's a less intense pace. Alleluia.

Weekend ahead...

  • Hanging out with my mom tomorrow.
  • Stoll family birthday party on Sunday in Dubuque.
  • Carson family birthday party on Monday in Ackley!

Today is a day of catching up, chores, gardening, and strategizing for the summer! Summer is absolutely my favorite season of the year. I wish every summer day was the length of two days. I've said before that I'd gladly work 60 hour weeks the rest of the year if it meant I could have June-August off! :) Maybe someday! In the meantime, I'll try my best to savor work and free time throughout this glorious season.

I've returned to juicing over the last couple weeks. So good and nourishing. Looking forward to fresh garden produce by July/August! Also pumped that it's farmer's market season again. Rochester has a really nice one on Saturday mornings.

I hope you're doing well! Leave a comment below and let me know what you're most excited about for this Memorial Day weekend!

  1. I'm excited about this weekend because Nancy and I can go camping and there is a possibility that I can see my Granddaughter that I haven't seen for a long time.
