Bloom

Bloom

I really enjoy the word bloom.
I am not exactly sure why, but I find it to be captivating, inspiring, and enchanting.
I adore the word so much I have it stuck above my bed.

Here are some quotes that contain my beloved word:

“The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.” - Thich Nhat Hanh

“The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer." - Ken Kesey

"May my soul bloom in love for all existence."
- Rudolf Steiner

  1. I don't know if this is a quote or more of an anecdote, but I love the expression "Bloom where you are planted." Reminds me to stop thinking about the next step being the answer but rather take advantage of this moment.

  2. I love that proverb/expression, too, Rachel! It's so true. I remind myself of that one often.

  3. Bloom is wonderful! I have a small sign on my desk at work that says "Bloom Where You Are Planted." It reminds me that even if I'm having a bad day and don't really enjoy my job - that I should still shine a light and be a positive force and make the best of it!
