Wednesday: Vanity of Vanities

Wednesdays will now focus on all sorts of scrumptous, worldy items. Books, fashion, home interiors, recipes, etc. Here's what I've gushing over this week:

Committed
is the new book by Elizabeth Gilbert, author of the absurdly famous Eat, Pray, Love. I would give her previous book a 7 out of 10. I'm curious to read this new one!

VIP John Mayer concert tickets for the Minneapolis show in March. A girl can dream, right?

I didn't get a Christmas tree this year because I was waiting until they'd go on sale after the holidays. Lately, I really want to get an eco-friendly Christmas tree alternative. This is my favorite option so far; it's from Possibili Tree.

Perhaps someday I'll be a person who wears adorable vintage hats. If so, I'd like to wear this hat. Etsy link.
I'd like to crawl into this bedroom and live in this picture. Photo courtesy of Daisy Pink Cupcake.

Have a splendid Wednesday.

Even if we never have all the silly, worldy things we sometimes covet (I'm totally talking about myself here), there's so much beauty and splendor around us every day. Have a joyful Wednesday absorbing the world around you!

  1. I have your "Vanity" shoes too! They are great with jeans with no socks. Which is impossible right now, as it doesn't seem to be over 20 degrees anywhere in the US...

  2. :) Someday it will be warm again, my dear friend! I hope you are feeling happy and healthy these days, April. Baby numero 2 is going to be amazing; just like baby numero 1!
