This week's "Healthy and Whole" challenge is: Drink tea! There are so many varieties of tea; it's amazing. If you already are a tea drinker, how about trying a new flavor of tea or a new brand? I am a big loose leaf tea advocate, but I also adore all the varieties of bagged teas on the market.

There are lots and lots of health benefits to drinking tea. Here are a few:
-The antioxidants in one cup of many tea varieties is equal to the antioxidants in one serving of vegetables!
-Reduced cancer risk
-Helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels
-Added bonus: It's calorie free and super flavorful.

My favorite online loose leaf tea distributor is: The Tea Table.

Have a wonderful Sunday and take a little time to enjoy sipping some warm, delightful tea! What's your favorite tea flavor?

  2. Oddly enough, I was just about to put the kettle on when I decided to check my dashboard on Blogger first. I'll have to check out the loose leaf style, we tend to stick to Celestial Seasonings--big fans of all the Sleepy Time varieties and Green Tea varieties they offer.

  3. Orange spice is yummy, but I'm addicted to sweetened Chai, as I mentioned the other day in my own blog!
