There's a Wideness to God's Mercy

Today's Photo: "A Breath of Peace"

I took a random flip through the ol' hymnal this afternoon and happened across the hymn "There's a Wideness to God's Mercy." Check out verse 3! It's brilliant!

For the love of God is broader than the measures of our mind;
and the heart of the Eternal is most wonderfully kind.
But we make this love too narrow by false limits of our own;
and we magnify its strictness with a zeal God will not own.

Great, huh? It was written by Frederick Faber sometime between 1814-1863. It seems 100% relevant for today! "But we make this love too narrow by false limits of our own"! That is so true.

It made me wonder, "How is God's love being limited today?"
