Are you having a joy-filled weekend? Is the sun shining where you are? There have been buckets of rain falling from the sky around here for the last few days. But in spite of the watery mess outside, I decided to go for a drive today. I was seeking out opportunities to experiment with the zoom features on my camera. Also, the leaves are amazing this time of year, and I wanted some quality time with them.
It was quite a pleasant afternoon, and I am feeling fully recharged to head back to church filled with positive energy and a good attitude tomorrow. I spent a little time in the sanctuary this evening practicing the sermon. The gospel text this week is a challenging one (Mark 10:2-16). I am praying for inspiration, good news, guidance, and plenty of the always-inspiring Holy Spirit.
