Fantastic Friday: 'Check it Out' List

Confessions of a Pioneer Woman

Listen Up: "Adagio for Strings" composed by Samuel Barber (I've always loved this composition, but I never knew the name of it until this week!)

Podcast it Please: Dinner Party Download (I think I've mentioned this one before, but I'm still a gigantic fan of this unique podcast. I dare you to try it for one week!)

Take a Look, in a Book: Crazy Busy: Overstretched, Overbooked, and About to Snap by Dr. Edward Hallowell (I've heard great things about it, and picked it up the other day for 90% off at the seminary's bookstore. If you're interested, I could grab you a copy this afternoon and mail it to you. It's marked down to $1.50).
Movie Worth Watching: Conviction (This is a movie based on the life of Carl Upchurch. It's really a great movie, but the first hour is quite violent and there is a lot of swearing.)

  1. I just noticed that your post today includes a mention about Dr. Hallowell's book "Crazy Busy." Just thought you might want to know that he is going to be on the expert hot seat soon. You might want to check it out.
