I wish I knew who to attribute the following lovely quote to, but alas - I do not. I searched and searched, but it comes up always as "anonymous." Whoever you are, wise person, I'd like to say "thank you" for these sentences.....
"The miracles of nature do not seem miracles because they are so common. If no one had ever seen a flower, even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.”
I found some dandelions in the yard this evening.
And they were startling indeed.
