The concert last night was so good.
So, so good.
I'm on cloud 9.

Phillip Phillips was the opening act. I didn't know much about him or his music, other than he wrote the song: "Home." I am now an official fan! He played the coolest cover of the Usher song "Nice and Slow." He and his band have a great energy on stage. Very fun to listen to them perform.
Then it was time for John Mayer. He played for more than 2 hours which was fabulous! And he played a BUNCH of my favorites including...
Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

Gravity (this is how he ended the encore)
He also played a cover version of "Sideways" by Cope. Really great song.
Also, I ADORE DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS.
Such a neat vibe. City life.
Sometimes I really miss it!
It's definitely good to go and get a "city fix" now and then.

Saturday night will go down in history as a favorite.
Live music. Anna time. Good people.
And, of course, a great big dose of John Mayer.
