Today I started a new 60-day healthy life plan.
The last 60-day plan went great. From April 15 to June 15.
I like 60-day commitments.
Part of the new plan is to cook at least once a week.
So I made beans tonight!
From their dried state all the way to their edible state! In a pressure cooker.
The whole process took about 50 minutes and didn't require soaking!
And then I cooked a delicious Mexican-style dish with pinto beans, onion, red pepper, green chiles, and mole sauce. YUM! Do you eat beans? What are your favorite types? And recipes?
My other wellness goal for the first two weeks: DRINK WATER.

Any tips? How do you remind yourself to drink water all day?
Get a water bottle you LOVE!!! That's helped me drink more water.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip, Ms. L!
DeleteHave water with you everywhere - on your desk, in the car. And, yes, a bottle that is functional and beautiful to YOU. I love the Nalgene BPA-free On-the-Go flip-top bottle in my signature green because it's easy to flip open and one can guzzle from it.

P.S. The Nalgene OTG bottle can leak though. - Carol
