Out and About

Have you been to Applebee's lately?

I had not been there for at least 3 years.

My how things have changed! In my past Applebee's experiences,
I would probably give it about a 7/10. It always good - but not my favorite.

I went to the Apache Mall Applebee's last night in Rochester. My mom and I agreed,
it was fantastic!!!!!

The menu is a lot different than it used to be.
Tons of options and great happy hour specials.
I especially loved the Chicken Wontons.

Everything was yumolicious.

I would give it a 9/10!
I will certainly going back soon.

Happy hour specials (including half-prize appetizers) are from 2-5pm and 9pm-close.

    Oh my goodness, we just had the best time at Applebee's last week! As a vegetarian, I don't find much to eat there, but I got a cheesy pasta without the chicken, and it was pretty good. We went for the 2 for 20 deal, enjoyed Blue Moon on tap, had a fantastic waiter, and got to sit at the table for the whole meal because Zoe sat, too. She enjoyed her chicken and fries and my pasta. We go about once a year because I get a gift card for Christmas, but maybe we will go a little more often now.

    My favorite chain restaurant is Noodles. I have also enjoyed Perkins as a road trip pit stop. Now I am hungry . . .

    Thanks for the tip! Hadn't been to Applebee's for a long time ... but the name popped into my head last night out of the blue. Did a frozen pizza at home instead. Will give Applebee's a try next time. Other fun places (not all chains): Twigs, Michael's, Redwood Room, Dunn Bros, Panera, Honker, O'Neill's Pizza, Red Lobster, Great China, Roscoe's, Bob's Smoke Stack Ribs, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Daube's Bakery. Want to try several more. Yikes, this works up an appetite!

    We've been to Red Robin a couple of times. Loved it the most recent time. We always enjoy going to Chick-fil-a.

    The Olive Garden, though, is our favorite restaurant by far.
