In case you are new to the blog, the way it works is this: each Friday we celebrate "Word of the Week" here at the blog. The first part of the post is a photo celebration of the past week's word. Then, at the end of the post, I share a new word.

Readers can send me a photo that relates to that special word at any point in the following 6 days. It can be a new photo that you take with your camera or cell phone during the week. Or, it can be an old photo that you discover while scanning through the hard drive on your computer.
