If I've said it once, I've said it a billion times:
Eat some kale!
It's so good in so many ways.
And it's widely available at farmer's markets this time of year;
it's best in the spring and fall months.
Here's my current favorite way to eat kale: Kale chips!
Step 1: Wash kale and tear into pieces.
Step 2: Put it onto baking sheets.
Step 3: Sprinkle on salt and olive oil.
Step 4: Bake at 350 for 15 minutes (or until crunchy).
Step 5: Take it out of the oven and eat it up! It's best fresh!

Yum! I have not seen kale at my farmers market, but maybe this week will be my lucky week. Thanks for the recipe tip!
ReplyDeleteYes!! Cade and I ate the entire pan warm the first (and only) time we made kale chips. Last night I sauteed it lightly and poured a little Greek salad dressing over it still in the pan but off the heat. Excellent.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, Ms. Maggie and Ms. April. April - that is a delicious recipe idea!!!!
