Something Special

Something Special

I'm introducing a new feature today; I'm not sure how often it will end up in the rotation. Is it okay if I switch up the blog schedule now and then? I was getting a little overly rigid with having a "theme" for each day. How about sometimes there is a theme and a regular schedule and sometimes there is not? I hope that will be alright.

The new feature is "Something Special" - in it, I hope to tell the stories of special moments, places, and people I encounter.

A friend recently introduced me to a lovely labyrinth in Rochester! If you want to know more specifics about it, email me and I'll fill you in on the address and contact info. It's open to the public and it's free. It's a beautiful, sacred space in the middle of a regular neighborhood. Just being immersed there for 20 minutes showered me in tranquil vibes. I slowed down and walked with intention; two simple acts that created an amazing feeling of peace.

I hope that you've already had some special moments this week. Where do you experience the sacred in your daily life? Also, if you live in Minnesota and have specific places you'd recommend that I visit, please let me know! I'm always open to suggestions.

P.S. - This week's "Word of the Week" is peace. Please send me your peace photos. It could be a photo of a peaceful place, a peaceful moment, or a peaceful person. Whatever floats your boat! Please be sure to send me a picture soon - Thursday at the latest. Looking forward to it (I really, truly LOVE seeing your photos)!
