Oh how flowers have grown on me!
In all honesty, I used to be somewhat of a flower-hater.
Not really a "hater" - but I did not appreciate flowers much at all,
and I found flowers from the store to be especially cheesy.
(Sometimes I am so un-romantic!)
But all that has changed! Now I adore flowers. I love them in the park.
I love them in a vase. I love them in the garden.
My new-found love of flowers has led me to a constant need to photograph them! Obviously, there is no way to capture their beauty. But photos are a fun way to attempt to capture something so difficult to describe. Flowers and plants are amazing creations!
Look - someone else thinks so to......
God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees,
and in the flowers and clouds and stars. - Martin Luther

I am like you were, Emily--I think flowers should stay on their stems! But I think they are very beautiful, delicate creations and I love them in a garden or in the wild. Prairie wildflowers are my favorite!
ReplyDelete:) Amen, Sarah! We have similar flower taste (and music taste!).
