Learning.

lock

Today I sat with a table of kindergartners for 60 beautiful minutes at the local elementary.
Our focus today: rhyming words.

It was AMAZING to see their little minds at work.
At first, they were clueless.
Rhyming made no sense. And then, a few minutes later, it made total sense.
They were rhyming experts. Bat and hat. King and ring. Sock and clock.

Today's classroom experience left me completely in awe of the power of learning.
Utterly fascinating.
Our brains can go from not understanding to understanding.
Sometimes it takes a few minutes; sometimes it takes a lifetime.
Regardless - we are capable of learning and growing and changing.

Wow.

  1. I love this Emily! Makes me think of I Cor. 13:12 "For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I have been known."
All the doubts, heartaches, questions, etc. we have will be answered when we see Jesus face to face. Or perhaps they will seem irrevelant when we gaze upon His glory!
