hello.snow.

A Winter Plant

It snowed about 15 inches here, and it's 0 degrees. Really.
Good thing I "love" winter, huh?
Otherwise I might be feeling a little crabby-crab about all this wintery goodness.

Church was even cancelled today!
So, just for fun, I stayed up until 3am cleaning and organizing. And then I got up at 7am to clean and organize some more. I just kept thinking of more and more projects to complete - drawers, closets, scrapbooks, boxes of treasures that I've avoided going through for years (literally).

Now I'm done with my cleaning projects, so I'm going to relax and snuggle up with some hot tea.
I hope you are having a good Sunday!

Reverb 10 Prompt: December 12 – Body Integration - This year, when did you feel the most integrated with your body? Did you have a moment where there wasn’t mind and body, but simply a cohesive YOU, alive and present? (Author: Patrick Reynolds)

This year I started meditating, and I've found it to be immensely helpful in connecting my mind and body. In the year ahead, I hope to commit to a regular meditation practice. There was a moment on the beach two weeks ago when I felt totally integrated - mind, body, and spirit. The sun was setting, and I was overwhelmed by a sense of peace. My favorite quote sprang to mind over and over again: "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well." - Julian of Norwich
