Last weekend I saw this little lady bug as I was walking across a bridge. She was perched on this bolt on the bridge's railing, looking out onto the water.
As I was getting closer and closer, preparing to take the picture, she totally repositioned herself and then stopped just like this.
It was kind of like she was saying, "Look, I'm tiny. Really, really tiny. But that doesn't stop me from dreaming of the world beyond this bridge. Some mornings I like to come here and just sit and take in the view."
I've been thinking of this image all week. The lady bug (with all her spots worn off) really inspires me to stop and take a breath and soak in the view.
