What a morning.

Today's photo is not my own, but I'm calling it: "Disgusting" and it's found Here

6:22am. I woke up feeling joy-filled and excited for the day. I thought to myself, "My what a difference 8 hours of sleep makes! From now on I'm always going to bed at 10pm!" I was feeling more chipper than I've felt in weeks.

6:35am.
Teeth brushed and contacts in. The local news is on in the background. It's time to make some hot tea. I head into the kitchen and "ahhhhhhhhhh"! Wasps everywhere!

Background:
About 2 weeks ago I did see a dead wasp on the living room floor, but I didn't think much of it. 2 days ago I saw a wasp moving very, very slowly on the kitchen counter, but again - didn't think too much of it.

6:36am
. Panic! Ahhhh. I tried to kill a few (Sorry, I hate killing bugs, but seriously! They shouldn't hang out in the kitchen like it's their own personal cafe.) I thought I had gotten them all, but then - Bam! They were flying around the house. I closed all the bedroom doors and hid in my bedroom.

7am.
Screaming and shrieking ensued until I called and woke up my dear mother to ask her what I should do. She gave some helpful advice. I hurriedly got ready and avoided the kitchen area altogether.

8:15am.
On the way to work this morning I called my landlords who quickly responded. I headed back to my house around 9:30am to unlock it for them. They opened up the heater/utilities room in the garage and JACKPOT! Wasp nation. Whoa. Yikes. They were everywhere.

11:00am
. Thankfully the problem has now been resolved. Although the landlord did let me know that there might be some "stragglers" buzzing around the house. Not so comforting, but at least I'll be prepared.

This morning's other activity: Worship leading at the Care Center facility in town. It was a neat time. Anytime there are 3 ladies named Lucille in the same room you're in for a great time.

No two days are ever the same. That's for sure.

What a morning. The adventures never cease.
