infinite ways.

Welcome to my life and brain. :) It's only 3pm and here are the lists in my pocket at this point. I have a regular planner that is always kept in an orderly manner; but the other part of my brain is much more haphazard. So I always have old library check-out cards (which I pull out of the WITHDRAWN books at my library job) handy for small and random thoughts that pop-up throughout the day. These lists are going to my Creative Everyday 2009 project for today. I'm working on a larger project; but it will take a few days to complete. Just a reminder, THERE ARE INFINITE ways to be creative everyday. My lovely amiga Maggie is pregnant, and one of her ongoing projects is growing a baby! And I'd say that is pretty darn creative!

So whether you are cooking, playing a new make-believe game with your kids, dancing around your house, growing a flower, or taking your vitamins in a new order - you are being creative. Embrace it. I heard someone say in an interview today: "You will continually surprise yourself." Isn't that a fun thought?

I hope you are having a highly surprising day.

MORNING ENTRY:

The devotional I am reading this month focuses on a great biblical passage this week - Micah 6:8.

God has told you, O mortal, what is good:
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

Good work, prophet Micah! These are truly some words to meditate on at the beginning of a new week
.
