Yesterday a friend and I walked a couple laps around Silver Lake after work! We saw a lot of cool stuff! Including this four leaf clover. We were walking fast but I happened to look over to the right on the ground, and there she was: Lil' Lady Clover.
Then - for the piece de resistance - two bald eagles! Flying right over Silver Lake. It was awesome. And I was too shocked to grab my cell and take a pic.
First, a juvenile bald eagle (they're brown), swooped over the water and slowed done. And then he grabbed a whole fish! And reached back up into the sky with the fish in his talons. 30 seconds later an older bald eagle flew through! I think they were doing a parent training session!
It was so cool to observe.
