PS: The bone marrow biopsy results are in! And I'm totally normal in the bone marrow. This is great news. It means there are no other random diseases or hereditary issues that are causing my ITP. My ITP is truly ITP. It just happens to be on the highly aggressive end of the ITP spectrum. The great news: my body has no problem making the right number of platelets. It just has a problem keeping them around.
