Music Monday: Hans Peterson

I first learned about the music of Hans Peterson when I was serving as Associate Pastor at Zion in Stewartville. Hans served on the staff of Zion in the 1990s. He is married to an amazing woman named Heidi and they have two sons. Hans earns many bonus points for being from Alaska which - as I've mentioned many times - is my favorite place on earth.

Hans is a thoughtful, spiritual, gifted song writer. Here's his website.  Here's his Facebook page. I've been listening to an early-release copy of his new CD over the last couple months, and the whole album is great. It's spiritual without a hint of cheese. Deep lyrics, wonderful melodies. It's music that's good for your heart and soul. It's music that you can listen to again and again - and always pick out something new.

My favorite songs are:

But it's hard to pick favs because they're all great.

I highly encourage you to purchase this CD! It's great. Cdbaby is the online distributor. You can hear a bit of each song on the Cdbaby site.

Are you in Southeastern Minnesota? I have some fun news for you! Hans will be putting on a CD release concert in Stewartville on March 14! Mark your calendars!
