Music Monday

Hey there, hi there, ho there.

How was your weekend?

Mine was wonderful. My mom, brother, and I met up in Clear Lake, Iowa for the afternoon on Saturday. My brother's doggies came, too. #bonus

Clear Lake is a neat town; I saw several tiny houses (they also may have been sheds or doll houses. I'm not sure. But they seemed like possible tiny houses).

Saturday night I wrote this little tune.

Sunday I got to have lunch with my amazing pastor colleague from Zion and his delightful family. It was so, so, so happy, and my heart was singing. Now that I'm in my new job, I don't get to see them as much. So Sunday was a real treat. I love that family.

Sunday evening, Mom and I visited the new Sephora in JCPenny at Apache Mall in Rochester. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Cosmetic alert. All my favorite brands in one place. I will definitely need to limit my time there because I could easily spend a lot of dough.

Here are some tunes for the week:

Most People by Dawes

Flaws by Bastille (Anna and I are going to see them in concert!)

Oblivion by Bastille

Alpenglow by S. Carey (Huge fan. When it's just a musician and a piano, I'm an extra huge fan.)

Lump Sum by Bon Iver
