Music Monday: Getting Better Style

Look! I even had the energy to add something to the usual graphic. Clearly I am getting better.

BUT IT HAS BEEN A SLOW PROCESS.

Oh my.

I look forward to telling you about the past week when I can look at a screen for more than 15 minutes without getting nauseated.

In the meantime, here are some songs.

(I'm back home for first time in a week! Sunday-Wednesday at hospital and Wednesday night-Sunday with my gracious momma who took excellent care of me. I'll be back to work tomorrow but not pushing it too much. Slow and steady. Slow and steady.)

These songs are all about gettin' better and being strong!

Go, Go Thomas
"Something good is going to happen today...Little by little, day by day"

Put on a Happy Face by Tony Bennett

You've Got a Friend by James Taylor
(FRIENDS & FAMILY: I love you! Thank you for the care, the texts, the emails, the visits. I am so, so, so thankful. Thankful beyond words. Your prayers, warm thoughts, and encouragement helped SO MUCH.)

The Heart of Life by John Mayer
"No, it won't all go the way it should, but I know the heart of life is good....Bad news never had good timing, then a circle of your friends will defend the silver lining."

Flashdance by Irene Cara
"Take your passion and make it happen." And then have a dance party! A slow and steady dance party!

PS: I know I'm getting better because I started sing-thinking again! I missed you, sing-thoughts! Thinking is so much better in song!

  1. Grateful to see you posting once again and to know you're on the road to recovery. Do take your time getting back in the swing of things. Nothing is more important than you regaining your health. Take good care. You are loved by so many who want the best of everything for you. God Bless!!
