Music Expedition

Music Expedition II

On Thursday night, Zion (the church I serve) hosted a concert of the Minnesota All-State Lutheran Choir. The choir is made up of high school students.  They spend one week in early June learning the music and preparing to tour.  Then, they spend the following two weeks giving choir concerts at churches throughout the state.

The concert was a little under two hours, and it was terrific.  A variety of music styles.  And then all those gathered got to join together for a hymn.  I love opportunities to sing hymns.  It brings me so much joy, and it was fun to sing with the other concert-goers and the choir.

I hosted 3 young ladies at my home that evening. The experience was wonderfully uplifting! What a great crew of high school students! Talented musicians and very kind.

If you are ever near one of their concert locations (which change yearly), I highly encourage you to go!
