By the time you read this post, it is likely the world's focus has zeroed in on a Prince and a new Princess. I'm sure there will be all kinds of fashion news. Who made Kate's dress? How did the bridesmaids do their hair? What size shoe does Kate wear?
And yes, I will certainly admit it, Kate IS completely charming and beautiful and lovely.
Well done, Will. Well done.
In case you need a break from royal fashion news, here's a post about cheap clothes from Target. As you know, I love a bargain, and Target always has a 75% off area. I recommend checking it out! You may be very surprised and delighted with what you find. I can't say I really "loved" this outfit, but I wanted to figure out a way to wear my green holiday dress in the spring. It wasn't necessarily a splashing success, but I wasn't booed and heckled out of my office either. All in all, I'd give it a 6/10.
Also, a quick tip:
Don't forget that almost everything can be dressed-down or dressed-up!
You probably have a shirt that you always wear in a casual way; why not dress it up?
Or a skirt that you always make very dressy; why not pair it with flats or boots and go casual?
Go for it! Here's one of my favorite denim shirts worn two very different ways.
You may now return to your coverage of the royal wedding.
I'll be here.....writing a sermon for Sunday, dreaming of my princes charming....
