Platelets

The platelets are down today. 27,000.
It's not that fun to be worried all the time.
I wanted to avoid getting my spleen out and getting all those immunizations.
But I don't want to live with this constant anxiety - afraid of every new bruise - afraid of my spleen rupturing - waking up at the crack of dawn twice a week for 6:30am blood tests. Plus, lately I'm feeling so tired - especially when I go out for walks. The spleenectomy has a 60% chance of working. I'm still not totally sure about it. I really want to keep my spleen. But I also just want my normal life back.
