I've been Pine-coned.

Greetings all. Happy Monday. All sorts of excitement around here. My mom came to visit for the weekend, and it was truly wonderful to have her here! This evening I am heading to Rochester, MN to meet with the bishop of the Southeastern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA (the area I have been placed in for a first call) and meet the staff up there. I'm looking forward to learning more about the area I will be moving to quite soon! I will be heading back tomorrow. I'm trying to find all sorts of podcasts to keep me company during the drive.

Do you have an podcast recommendations? Or 'Book on Tape' recommendations? Or crock pot recipes? I'm always thankful for recommendations of any kind!

My friend Nan and I have been captivated by pine cones lately. I took some pictures out in the 'yard' of the apartment building just a bit ago. These cones are pretty fascinating.
