5 Things We Love At This Very Moment....

Happy Thursday, friends. It's rainy, chilly, and I'm in a city filled with swine flu paranoia. Anybody else need a little extra dose of cheesy happiness injected into their veins? I sure do!

So, that means it's time for "5 Things We Love At This Very Moment"! Last time I think we got 9 people to respond; let's beat our record! We can do it! I'm telling you - it will be tons of fun, and you will bring joy to people's faces. Thank you for being amazing.

The five things I love at this very moment include:

1) breakfast with an amazing gal pal
2) lunch: a baked potato with an avocado on top
3) a fully functioning new label printer at the library: a true joy
4) perspective: though somehow I am constantly losing it
5) hope: lately it truly perseveres

Your turn! If you've tried before, please join us again! If you've never tried, please do. I bet you'll be amazed at how many random things you love!

  4. Emily! This is so just what I need as I sit here in my oven-ish house in Mexico, where we can't even go to the movies to cool off because everything is closed! Boo to the swine flu. Here goes...

    1. Finishing an amazing novel and then choosing one to read next

    2. The anticipation of making new things - yogurt, bagels, freezer jam - as soon as I translate the more obscure ingredients into Spanish

    3. New books

    4. Going on vacation, even for just one night, to somewhere you've never been

    5. Watering plants that really need it, and that respond very quickly (basil comes to mind)

So good to find you here! Can Luke and I list this on our blog? andreaandluke.blogspot.com

    Hope you're well...

    5. The articles today read that 60% of new twitter users don't return after the first month. I was hoping this was a fad. I'm tired of joining online communities. :)
    Emily,
Thanks for putting the link up so I could post on this! It was fun. I hope you are doing great and spectacular things are happening around you. Watch out for the pig flu! :)
